Ear infection
Little man now has an ear infection!
I can't believe this kid just can't catch a break... He's always sick. He just got over a sinus infection and now it's his ears. We know he does because a classic sign of an ear infection is when I baby tugs at his ears. He's tugging at his left ear only and he does it every few minutes. He doesn't look to be in real serious pain but you can tell he's annoyed. He was also having a hard time sleeping so we gave him some tylenol and I rocked him until it kicked in. It was kinda cute to see it kick in, he was so restless then he just went into a deep slumber after about 10 minutes and started snoring.
I was so careful not to let him get an ear infection too. They say "don't let your baby drink a bottle laying flat or unattended in his crib because the formula can drip in his ears and cause an infection". Quinn is pretty good at holding his own bottle so sometimes I do prop him up and let him have the bottle alone but I watch vigorously! And make sure it's not EVER going into his ears, I make sure he's not on his back and I wipe any drips coming from his mouth that I see. And those drips are usually heading for his neck not his ears.
SO WHAT THE F@#$! Why does he have an ear infection?
Tony did some investigating on the internet and it turns out that when a baby has a Sinus infection an ear infection is most likely soon to follow.
He just can't win!
The issue Tony and I are having as good/bad parents is that he has a doctor appointment already set up for shots on Friday. So, do we take him in also tonight? Or do we give him Tylenol until Friday?
Obviously if Quinn looked like he was in pain we'd take him right away but he looks like he's just annoyed right now, like it's the beginning of the infection. I guess we'll just keep our eyes peeled...

Just call the doctor and see what he says. He will probably tell you to just wait till his appointment Friday.
They won't give him shots if he's sick..That's happen to me before so you better call and make sure.

They did cancel his shots... can't say I wasn't sad about that!
