The Blue Eyed Maloto and Beep Beep the Clown

We took the baby to the Diner to meet Beep Beep the clown. (click image for his website) Tony and I had gotten to know Beep Beep already because he goes to the diner every Sunday and so did we. He'd make me doggie and flower balloons! We decided Quinn was old enough to go meet him. Right away Beep Beep came over to meet Quinn. I think Beep Beep was worried that Quinn was going to start crying. I suppose that is a real big concern for him. But Quinn just watched him with BIG eyes and curiosity. I was proud of him for not freaking out, but Quinn is really not that type of kid, I like that :)

Tony was doing impressions of what Quinn was thinking while watching him walk around the room... "There's something about that guy, I can't put my finger on it... hummmm.... He has daddies hair but it's pink.... He kinda makes me wanna laugh, but that would be just rude................It looks like his daddy dressed him......" That is funny because Tony dressed Quinn so badly once that when I got to the daycare to pick Quinn up they had redressed him!

Beep Beep gave us his card last year and told us to call for Quinn's first birthday party. I remember giggling because that just sounded so far off and silly so I put the card on our fridge and just left it there, well the time has come, his first birthday! I don't think we'll have Beep Beep over for the first birthday. I'd rather it be a family affair. Just the people Quinn actually knows and loves, I kinda wish I could have Quinn's nursery teacher Donna there and some of the kids too, but that would be just silly, Or would it?

Anyway maybe we'll have Beep Beep over for the second birthday. All though Tony is trying to make plans to take Quinn to Disney World on his second birthday. I don't know if I want to do that though, I mean aren't the little kid birthday parties supposed to be at home with all their friends and family, waking up and helping mommy and daddy put balloons on the mailbox, licking the cake mix off the mixer while mom is preparing the cake, blowing out candles, sticking their fingers in the icing, watching the shiny presents stack up on the designated gift table and drooling with anticipation! Then opening up all those toys and running out side to test them out! I just feel like taking him to Disney World should be a separate experience. He'd loose something of the "Birthday Experience" Plus we should be able to top each birthday gift every year, how do we top a trip to Disney World?

I guess what I mean to say is that Disney is strong enough to be it's own memory and experience. It doesn't have to be rolled into his birthday too. I am sooo excited to have his birthday party at the house with all his baby friends!

Oh yeah... The blue eyed maloto,

Tony jokes that if Quinn's eyes don't change he's getting the test.

Some church goers sat next to us and they had a young teenager with them that looked like he had some African American in him but mostly Caucasian like Quinn. All though he had dark thicker hair he had beautiful blue eyes! It gave me hope that Quinn's eyes will stay blue. All though the likely hood of any mixed child to have blue eyes is rare. I find Quinn to be rare and beautiful himself so it would suit him quite well.

Doesn't the header sound like we went to the circus rather then the Diner!

Personally, I would wait on Disney. My parents took me to DisneyLand when we lived in California but I can't remember a thing! I would wait until he is older and will remember the trip. However, if you are EVER in the state of Florida I had better hear about so I can visit. I would love to go to Disney so if you go next year Kelsey and I will meet you there with ears on :)

TECHNICALLY QUINN IS 3/4 CAUCASIAN - HE MIGHT JUST KEEP THOSE BLUE EYES. PLUS, THEY ARE TURNING GREY/ BLUE JUST LIKE YOURS SO I THINK THEY WILL STAY BLUE.
