Vegetarian my ass

For a brief moment I thought it might be a good idea to keep Quinn away from meat and let him decide when he is older if eating meat is something he wants to do. Tony looked at me like I was crazy but said he'd give it a try if it was important to me. I decided against it only because I don't want to jeopardize his health in any way. I like to assume I know all about how to eat as a vegetarian but what if I don't? What if I am wrong?

Sitting at the diner on Saturday afternoon. My mom, who knows I need gentle nudging sometimes, hands me a piece of chicken and says let him try it. After norotically taking off every bit of Salad dressing on it that I could see (and smell) I tore out some of the center and gave him some bits and pieces. He loved it. I've been told that Babies have a hard time with meat at first and it takes time for them to get use to the texture. But Quinn seemed quite happy with it.

So Sunday we're at Sams and a lady gives me a sample meat ball and another for Quinn. I figure, what the hell, and I let him try the meat ball ... It was such a hit that I went back and bought a huge bag of them along with chicken nuggets.

The boy likes meat, A LOT.
