internal battles

Two of my best friends and a very close family member are awaiting terrible news. I just got an email last night that my long time friend that I have been best friends with since the 7Th grade, just found out that she may have Bladder cancer and is preparing for all the tests she will have to endure. My other friend who I just bonded with the second I met her in high school, began having unusual symptoms a few weeks ago. After a two night trip to the hospital... the doctors suggested it could be MS and sent her to a neurologist. Another close family member is waiting for test results that could or could not lead to Ovarian cancer... all waiting for terrible news. These are three of the most important, strong, beautiful woman in my life, with the exception of a forth who is as healthy as a horse, thank god... waiting for their results almost feels like waiting for my own... I guess it would be because if any of them come back as positive, I will battle with them. so, I suppose we just sit and wait.
