Shop Till You Drop.
Every year or so my mother and sister take me out shopping and beat the lady back into me... I hate to shop and I hate even more to dress up. I'm not sure why, I think I just prefer to not be noticed. Like the background effect. But at the same time my "frump wear" can kinda get me down. So the annual shopping trip snuck up on me yesterday... after seven hours of dressing rooms and coffee I now have "lady wear", dresses, skirts, tops, shoes, lady garments (hehe), and jewelry, I even have a toe ring now!
I'm not used to it though, I feel very uncomfortable in it but I'm going to try anyway. Because I'm getting lost in frump.
Oh yeah and I dyed my hair... of course that's not new, I love doing that! I thought about going light red but I stuck with the chestnut brown. I have to keep it back right now because it's so Gothic looking, which is cool but not at 32, it will fade in about a week, hopefully.

Sure sure - blame us - you know you're the one that drags us all over town .... :~)
HA! I'm usually sulking in the corner when you two shop. That or trying to pry Quinn out of the clothing racks! But I am grateful, if not for you two I'd be wearing sweat pants to work. All though my savings is a bit more depleated then I had hoped. :( oh well it's once a year.
Ahhh - money is highly overrated anyway - at least that's what I keep telling myself.... over and over and over and over ... :~)
me a big shopper? you crazy. i have to go to certain stores that make clothes for short people. mom's the crazy shopper!
unless you're talking about bags.. i admit that i have a problem with bags.
i do like dressing you up when we go shopping though. you can fit into just about anything off the rack - you're the perfect height - i'm very jealous of that. i'm too short, you're just right, mom's too tall. are you sure that we're related?
I'm pretty sure mom was impregnated by aliens when she had you... that would explain the conundrum of her being able to have another child after she was told she couldn't.
I thought you looked a little green.
Yeah well maybe I am the perfect height but my ass is really an entity of it's own! I'm thinking of charging it rent.
Let's go back to the "I have a problem with bags" Bags??? - How about shampoos, conditioners, makeup, face cleaners, toners, pens, pencils, schedulers, hair ties, dog treats.... Need I go on ???
And let me know how the "rent" thing works out for you - I might need to start doing it myself... - :~)
Don't worry only cool people can pull of red hair :P
